I’ve got some unfortunate news from my and Julie’s small household.
Last week we learned that Julie has AML leukemia.
Because Julie is so young (she just turned 48 in November) and otherwise health, we are shooting for a cure. The doctor is optimistic, but this is a long-haul treatment plan.
I brought Julie to Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH, today, where she had a chemo port implanted to help with the infusion, and admitted her to inpatient care for treatment.
Because of COVID-19, I can’t even be in the same room with her (although this does mean that there’s a lower risk of infections). We are connecting virtually on an ongoing basis — while she’s feeling well — and she’s in good spirits, considering the circumstances, but there’s a long road ahead.
I’ll update this website as we know more.
Julie can receive cards or packages at:

(Julie is a kid who colors in all corners of the room, and any reminder of the world external to this situation will be a good thing. Believe it or not, she loves frogs, unicorns and other symbols of magic, love, and wonder. As I sit here tonight writing this e-mail, I see Julie all around me, in a million details and pieces of art and treasured items in our home.
Julie is also a music buff and would love to hear your suggestions of new and interesting bands, songs or genres. You can post these to the comments section of this site or e-mail them to me at: randymoser@protonmail.com. )
Please keep love, light, and kindness in your hearts and remember Julie in your prayers. We’re going to get to the better end of this thing, but your emotional and spiritual support means the world to us.
Love you all.
Randy
