In reply to Karen White. Thank you Karen! Even though we helped care for close loved ones with cancer, you are absolutely on point! My mother-in-law has mucositis and thrush during her chemo, too, and I remember having empathy for her, but I had no idea what pain she was in until I had it last time (and will most likely have it again during the upcoming rounds). I’m looking forward to getting home on Sunday and doing continued healing before the next round!

Great news, Julie, Randy! I well remember the day I heard chemo had done its thing and it was onward to planning surgery. I don’t know if anybody but a survivor can truly appreciate the sense of weight being lifted from wherever we store our anxieties! Keep on chugging, Julie, and enjoy the upcoming “warm” weather with open windows and snuggly comforters, dog and husband! Lots of hugs an know that you are missed!

Incredible, but not surprising. You are kicking it – both of you. With every year that passes, I feel more like Statler and Waldorf than any of the other Muppets, but you two give me hope that their is more positivity and humor in this world than even Jim Henson and company can express.
